How QR based RSVP working? #
To enable QR generation for any event, you need to make sure you have selected that event from HandyNation’s dashboard. Once you select your event, then it will automatically generate the QR code email for the RSVP users. To make this enable, follow these steps.
Select event from HandyNation
Go to Account area of HandyNation website, Go to Events. Click on “Add event” button.
You will land on event selection page like below :
On this page, select the site in which the event is created and then select the event that you want to create QR code based RSVP system. Then save button.
Now all users who RSVPs from the mobile app will automatically get an email with QR code. But what about the users who RSVPed the event from website? For this you need to follow this step.
Set tagging to website RSVP users
For the website RSVP users, please go to event page in the control panel, there at Event Setting > Advanced, you will find the option of Tagging RSVP users. Please use this tag here “remaining_hn_qr_code“.
You are done! Now for every new RSVP user, they will get email with QR code that you can scan using the mobile app.
RSVP Using QR scan #
In HandyNation app, go to top navigation -> Events -> Select site -> Select specific event. You will see event detail screen. Here click on the RSVP Users section as per snap below.
You will get the list of RSVP users. You can see the Scan icon on top right corner.
Click on it will open the camera to scan the QR code. The QR code should be sent to user’s email which you should scan and it will directly open that user’s RSVP screen as per snap below.
Submit the RSVP button and you are done!
