Canvassing list #
To get the list of canvassing, go to top navigation -> Canvassing. Here you will find the canvassing list created as explained in this step.
List view #
In this view, you will get list of users in ascending order of distance between your current GPS location and the user’s location. You will right sign marked if user is already canvassed.
Street view #
In this view, you will get the list of streets with nearby street first. Each snippet will have the count of users on that streets.
Call view #
This view is having a list of users with direct action button to call them. This view is best for the phone canvassing.
Map View #
This view will plot all the users on the map to give you Arial view of them.
When you will start the walk, you will get a path to nearby user.
In this screen, you will get primary information of this user that can give you insights about him. You can directly mark the user as done or you can skip this user to move to next.
Record user inputs #
To log the user’s input, you should click on user’s name as per snap below.
You will land to screen as per the snap below.
Here you can record the support level, contact method, contact type and notes about this user. You can also fill the survey, RSVP user to specific event and you can have user to sign the petition.
Household canvassing #
If there are more than 1 users sharing the same address, then you can canvass them altogether using household canvassing feature. To do household canvass, go to street view and click on desired street. You will get the list of users in that street and option to canvass all of them together as per screen below.
