Prerequisites #
Before you begin setting up the app, please ensure that you have the following prerequisites in place to ensure a smooth installation process.
- NationBuilder Control Panel User with Admin Access
To successfully set up the app, you need to have access to the NationBuilder control panel with administrative privileges. This access is crucial for authenticating our app to access your NationBuilder data. - Active membership with HandyNation 3.0
Ensure that you have an active membership with HandyNation 3.0. Initially you can start with our trial period to try out but later it will require active membership of HandyNation 3.0 - Smartphone with Compatible Operating System
You will need a smartphone to use the app. Please make sure that your smartphone meets the following requirements:
- For Android Users
Android version 4.4 (KitKat) or later is required. - For iOS Users
iOS version 8 or later is required.
- For Android Users
- Install the apps
To proceed with the app setup, you must have the app installed on your smartphone. For Android Users download the app from Play store and for iOS users download the app from App store.
By ensuring that you have met all these prerequisites, you’ll be ready to set up and use the app effectively, making the most out of its features and functionality.
Account setup #
Go to “Get Started” button on top right corner.
You will see the popup like below. Insert your NationBuilder slug here.
If the slug you are trying to register is already exist, you will get error like below:
If slug does not exist, you will redirected to your NationBuilder site to authenticate yourself. Please login using admin credentials in your site and allow our app to installed in your Nation.
Once you approve the app to be installed in your Nation, you will be redirected to our website to choose the membership plan.
Here, by default it has the trial period selected, but if you directly want to enrol in the paid plan, select the checkbox below to bypass the trial period:
Here Canvassing functionality is add-on and it is optional to add or not. You can also enroll for yearly or monthly plan by selecting switch from top.
Move ahead by clicking on button.
In next page, fill the billing details and process the payment.
After processing the payment you will be redirected to your account area. You are done with your account setup. Now you can login to the app.
